Westford Academy Theater Arts production of My Name is Asher Lev was named Winner at the METG State Festival Semi-Final Round on Saturday, March 15 at Westford Academy.  In doing so, WATA earns a berth in the State Finals held at the Back Bay Events Center on March 27-29.  In additional to the team advancement, nine WA students were named to the All Star Cast for Outstanding Achievement:

Matthew Gagnon for Excellence in Technical Theater: Original Score
Renee Craig for Excellence in Acting for her role as The Women
Sam Nudler for Excellence in Acting for his role as Asher
Nick Nudler for Excellence in Acting for his role as The Men
Dayle Welch, Court Fiore, Thomas Mitsock, Misha Stapp and Kara Cialla for Excellence in Technical Theater: Set Design
Court Fiore was recognized with the David Dooley Award (for significant contribution to the success of the event.)

WATA will present My Name is Asher Lev for the final time in the Westford Academy Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, March 26 at 8:00 pm.  General Admission Seats will be sold at the door.

Westford Academy Theater Arts production of My Name is Asher Lev was named Winner at the METG State Festival Preliminary Round on Saturday, March 1 at Danvers High School.  In doing so, WATA earns a berth in the State Semi Final Round held at Westford Academy on Saturday, March 15.  In additional to the team advancement, seven WA students were named to the All Star Cast for Outstanding Achievement:

Court Fiore was recognized with the Stage Manager's Award (for the top Stage Manager of the Round)
Matthew Gagnon for Excellence in Technical Theater: Original Score

Nick Nudler for Excellence in Acting for his role as The Men
