Change in Issuing of Locks
We would like to share with you a change in our procedures in the issuing of locks. In an effort to better serve students early on in the semester, locks will not be issued to each and every student participating in Physical Education. Students are strongly encouraged to bring their own personal lock that they will use each block while participating. Students who cannot provide their own locks will be provided a school lock upon request. Safety and security is our strongest goal for each student at Westford Academy.
Westford Academy offers many exciting courses for all levels of student’s interest and abilities. Students are offered courses such as Physical Education Selective and Health Education as well as Child Development and Food & Nutrition.
Westford Academy believes in the concept of Wellness. “Personal wellness occurs when one of commits to the lifelong process developing a lifestyle based on healthy attitudes and actions. The Wellness process consists of increasing awareness and choosing options that result in growth and balance among the areas of physical, spiritual, emotional, social, intellectual and occupational/vocational.”1
