PARENTAL OVERRIDE POLICY
When a student fails to meet the prerequisites for taking a sequential course, the student is obligated to take an alternative course. In some extenuating circumstances, parents may formally request an override of the school’srecommendation or eligibility requirement for a course. In this instance, the student is allowed to take the preferred course with the understanding that the student will remain in said course for the entire school year.

After having a discussion with the recommending teacher, please click here to access theENGLISH DEPARTMENT OVERRIDE FORM. You will not be able to fulfill the override request if that discussion hasn't occurred.
