Good afternoon,

It was a  great week at W.A., but a little sad the same, as we said goodbye to our French and German exchange students and chaperones.  Truly a wonderful visit with a whole host of activities and experiences for our French and German friends and a great opportunity for our students at Westford Academy. Dean of Students, Mr. Ware and I had the opportunity last week to "work the grill" for our Spirit Week Tailgate and all of the students and parents were more than gracious to say the that the BBQ food that was provided was "pretty good"! Too kind!  I would like to sincerely thank ALL of our host families for opening up their homes to our visitors.  Finally, I must thank you to our 6-12 Foreign language Coordinator, Sharon Charbonnier, and fellow French and German Teachers for all of the work they put forth to make the visit a complete success.  Congratulations to all of you and please know that we appreciate all of the extra effort!

ONE WEEK AWAY- and I need your help!
3rd Annual Rajiv Paluri International Night:

Many of you may remember three years ago when a young boy from the Blanchard Middle School, named Rajiv Paluri was taken from us in a skiing accident at the Nashoba Ski Area.  To honor his memory we are hosted a half time presentation with a moment of silence at the football game on October 21st and on November 4th we are hosting the Third Annual Rajiv Paluri International Night.  Rajiv loved many things besides his family; three of his joys were football, the fall, and different types of foods.  In honor of his memory we are hoping you will support these events.

If you are to willing to drop of soda, water, snack items, cups, paper plates, cutlery, napkins ext., please email Mrs. Hilary Langille with your donation items. Store bought food items cookies, chips, cheese and crackers or perhaps cut up fruit would be great.  We would ask you to drop off any itemds at 4:30 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2017 by the cafeteria doors.  Looking at the high school, right side, by the granite blocks.

Many local restaurants will be supplying some main dishes for the event and there will be plenty of PIZZA for the young ones.

We would love for you to then come back to join us a 5:30 mingle with Rajiv's family.  THE EVENT is also a THROWBACK TEEN CENTER for students.  All kinds of activities for the student body.

Donations of $5 per person will be accepted at the door and will be supporting the Rajiv Paluri Memorial Foundation.

Please email with your donation item.
