3rd Annual Rajiv Paluri International Night:
Many of you may remember three years ago when a young boy from the Blanchard Middle School, named Rajiv Paluri was tragically killed in a skiing accident at the Nashoba Ski Area. To honor his memory we are hosted a half time presentation with a moment of silence at the football game on October 21st and on November 4th we are hosting the Third Annual Rajiv Paluri International Night. Rajiv loved many things besides his family; three of his joys were football, the fall, and different types of foods. In honor of his memory we are hoping you will support these events.
If you are to willing to drop of soda, water, or snack items, please email Mrs. Hilary Langille with your donation items. Store bought food items cookies, chips, cheese and crackers or perhaps cut up fruit would be great. We would ask you to drop off your meal at 4:30 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2017 by the cafeteria doors. Looking at the high school, right side, by the granite blocks.
Many local restaurants will be supplying some main dishes for the event and there will be plenty of PIZZA for the young ones.
We would love for you to then come back to join us a 5:30 mingle with Rajiv's family. THE EVENT is also a THROWBACK TEEN CENTER for students. All kinds of activities for the student body.
Donations of $5 per person will be accepted at the door and will be supporting the Rajiv Paluri Memorial Foundation.

News from the Guidance Department:
This week, Guidance Counselors met with ninth grade students in small groups during PE and Health. In the small group meetings, the students were introduced to Naviance, the software program that is utilized for career exploration and college admissions planning, as well as different resources available on the WA Guidance website. Students were also encouraged to sign up for Remind and the WA Guidance blog, two methods that are used for regular communication. For any students who have not met with their Guidance Counselor, meetings will be scheduled in the next few weeks. Timelines for each grade have been updated for the 2017-2018 school year. The timelines can be found on the WA Guidance website. From the homepage, scroll towards the bottom, and each timeline has a separate link on the left side. As a reminder, Guidance Department
