Senior Capstone Exhibition
Please come to Westford Academy's Senior Capstone Exhibition on Tuesday, May 30 from 10 -12:00 PM in the main and auxiliary gyms. The almost 400 seniors who participated in our Capstone program will have displays representing the internships, projects, papers and community service they completed over the past five weeks.
Graduation 2017 - Photographer
Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch will be providing professional photography services at Graduation. Students and their family members may pre-register by signing up with their name and email anytime at www.events.lifetouch.com prior to graduation; doing so will enable a notification to be sent when their portraits are available for ordering.
WestfordCAT - Graduation Ceremony
Each year WestfordCAT records the entire graduation ceremony and makes personalized keepsake copies available on either DVD and Blu-ray discs for $15 each. If your child has an epipen in the clinic, please have them pick it up by the end of the year. We do not hold onto any epipens over the summer. Thank you
The New England Patriots return to Westford Academy!
On Monday, June 5th at 7:00 PM, the Westford Academy Athletic Boosters will host the annual: “New England Patriots vs. Westford” Charity Basketball game. At least six (6) New England Patriots players will lace up their basketball shoes at Westford Academy at 7:00 PM to compete in a basketball game against players from the Westford area. The Westford team will be comprised of members of the Westford schools' faculty, students and Westford community members. In addition to the main event, there will be a chance for autographs and pictures during halftime and after the game.
LAST NIGHT 2017
WA Last Night 2017 is only one week away! Last Night is the all-night, substance-free celebration for our Westford Academy graduating seniors, which will be held on Friday, June 2nd starting at 10:00 PM. Thank you to the community for your generous donations and thank you to the almost 300 volunteers who make this important Westford tradition possible. We look forward to seeing all of our volunteers and the new graduates of the Class of 2017 next Friday night. The Westford Farmers Market
The Westford Farmers Market is back for its new 2017 season! Students interested in being part of this year's team, we invite you to our first meeting at the First Parish Church United (one next to the library at the town common; 48 Main St) this Friday, May 26 at 3:00 PM. Westford Community Compost - A call for volunteers!
Westford Academy's new batch of Good Good Compost is ready to be screened and bagged, and we need your help to do it! Bring your friends and family and join the fun of bringing premium, local compost to our community. Please join us on Saturday, June 17th from 9-1:00 at Westford Academy's compost bins outside, for a screening and bagging party! Wear your garden or work gloves. Rain date is Sunday, June18th, 9-1:00 PM. For students, this is a great opportunity for Community Service hours, bring your form for Sharon Chew to sign. Adults welcome too!
Westford Farmers Market and SNAP Bonus Bucks Program
June 20th is Opening Day! Your favorite farmers market will be here before you know it! On Tuesdays you can count on a reliable, robust and lively farmers market on the Town Common to meet and greet your friends and neighbors. Fresh air and sunshine, fresh and local produce, grains, meats and eggs and cheese. All locally made without preservatives and artificial anythings! Let's continue the Spirit of Giving with the SNAP Bonus Bucks Program. Please help fight hunger in our community and neighboring towns and provide food for a child or the family. Your private donation gives to your neighbors in need and doubles their food allowance provided by SNAP (a Federal program; Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program) up to $25 if spent at the market. 100% of your donation is used for SNAP recipients.
