Good afternoon,
I apologize for not sending out a morning brief, but it has been a very busy day in preparation for tomorrow.
I have some updates for you.
• Father Peter from St. Catherine's asked for people who plan on attending the service in the morning to carpool as much as possible. Students with those "young legs" are encouraged to park at the Blanchard Middle School and to walk to the church. I announced that at school this afternoon.
• Tomorrow I would also like to encourage you to carpool. It is going to be very busy at the high school. Additional parking is available at the Robinson School and the Crisafulli School. Parking on the school side of Patten Rd. is also acceptable. There is NO PARKING on Cold Spring and Country Roads. Please come early, it is going to be hectic, and I ask for your patience and understanding. Additional parking is available on the athletic fields behind the school.
• The celebration of Olivia's life will take place in the auditorium and the main gymnasium. Overflow will be able to view the ceremony on televisions in the cafeteria. We have made every effort to accommodate folks, but there is only so much we can do with the physical plant.
• Today was a better day. We went back to some routines and our students worked their way through the day. I give them a lot of credit. This is tough stuff!
