What is Instructional Technology?
Instructional Technology is any technology that is used for teaching and learning at Westford Academy. The uses range from teacher computer presentations to Internet research to Proscope microscopes to curriculum based student projects.
Role of the Instructional Technology Specialist
The Instructional Technology Specialist (ITS) works with classroom teachers using the consultative model to integrate technology into the curriculum. In addition to this consultant-and-teacher role, the ITS manages the school computer lab and advises the Principal on school technology needs.
