he time to start gathering items for our Holiday Bazaar Silent Auction. This is our main fundraiser of the year.
Last year our class raised over $2000 auctioning off theme baskets such as Red Sox, Patriots, Winter Wonderland, Golf, etc.
Following are some ideas of themes we havefor this year's baskets, with ideas for donations in parentheses:
* Boston Sports (TICKETS!!!, and any other gear for Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, New England Patriots)
* Life's a Beach - (towels, sunscreen, beach umbrella, cooler, beach toys, kite, beach chairs)
* Whole Latte Love - (coffee, mugs, gift cards to Starbucks, or other local coffee shops, grinder, coffee maker, etc)
* A Day on the Links - (golf gear, balls, tees, markers, shirts, gift certificates to local courses)
* Pizza and a Movie Night with babysitting (gift cards to restaurants, movie tickets, popcorn, candy)
* Beauty Packages
* Taste of Italy (or France, or Spain, or Germany, or...)
* Ice Cream Social - (gift cards for ice cream, bowls, toppings, scoops, novelty spoons)
* Tailgate Time - (Patriot gear of any kind, portable barbeque, team tshirts and hats, blankets, paper goods)
* New Driver's Package (we have a GPS donated and could use some gas cards, carwash certificates, etc)
Of course, if you have an idea for something else - go for it!!
So...if you or your parents have any items you would like to donate to these baskets to support the Class of 2010, we would be very thankful. Please give them to Mr. Bramanti in 245, Mrs. Pechacek in Guidance, or any of your class officers.
The Holiday Bazaar is Saturday, December 6. We would appreciate donations before Thanksgiving if possible so that we have time to package and promote what we will be auctioning.
Thanks everyone!
