ABBOT AWARD This scholarship is given in memory of John Abbot, one of the original trustees of Westford Academy. Mr. Abbot was a Second Lieutenant in the revolutionary War. He served as Town Clerk and Treasurer between the years of 1792 and 1794. This scholarship is awarded to a senior entering a four year college.

WESTFORD YOUTH BASEBALL/SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION AWARD Given to student who participated in Westford Youth Baseball / Softball. Financial need will be a consideration. College acceptance required. Selection made by WYBA Board of Directors

WESTFORD YOUTH BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION AWARD Given to seniors who are present members and playing participants in the Westford Youth Basketball Association. Consideration will also be given to those who have made a substantial contribution to the program, typically beyond coaching, but did not play as seniors.Volunteer activity in the WYBA is an important component. College acceptance required. In addition, to the above, one or two of the applicants will be presented with the Jim Mancuso Memorial Award.- This student will exemplify the traits that Jim Mancuso brought to the association for so many years. Jim was a tireless, selfless, volunteer who gave everything he had to make the WYBA successful with his one and only focus being the players. His good sportsmanship, good humor and incredible instinct, energy and enthusiasm leave a lasting legacy for the WYBA. Selection will be made by the WYBA Scholarship Committee.
